Thursday was hot with strong thermals. My P2 students got practice with thermals, 360’s, and big ears early. Mark G., working on his P3, got his longest and highest flight ever here in Boulder. I stayed up for 25 minutes but could not get more than 600′ over in blown apart thermals.
Friday looks similar but hotter. Weather map shows cold front passed by early so post frontal conditions again today? Pressure gradient only -.02″. Local forecast and NOAA weather radio calling for NE flow all day with clear skies.
It will get active so starting with P2 students at 8AM.
