Every spring and fall—when the weather is most favorable—we spend a week intensively learning to paraglide in the paragliding mecca of Grand Junction, Colorado. There are 3 excellent ridge soaring sites where you can have long smooth flights and learn to fly much faster than in bumpy turbulence found at thermal sizes. We start at sunrise and finish at sunset to intensively teach you to paraglide in one week—you must fly a minimum of 5 days to earn you USHPA P2 rating.
