New wind sock is ready for flying

James and I placed a new wind sock over the water tank yesterday so that the winds on the North Boulder Ridge will be easier to see.   Friday and Saturday look dry before  rain and snow on Sunday.

Pressure gradient is -.12″ and winds aloft are high—31 knots at 9 & 12K!  Niwot Ridge and Copper Mountain are also showing strong surface winds.  Aviation Weather calls for easterly winds this afternoon?
